Alta Contest Bar Vol.2
A competition where creativity and technical skill meet
TheAlta Contest Bar has been designed to challenge bar talents by offering them a playground where precision, speed and artistic flair are the order of the day. This year, on Thursday March 13, 18 candidates from different establishments in the resort will compete in a friendly but highly competitive atmosphere.
On the program are three tests designed to test their knowledge and creativity:
QCM: a first test in which candidates have to prove their expertise in mixology and bar culture.
Cocktail with dessert: participants have to match a cocktail with a dessert chosen at random from three options.
Signature cocktail with a spirit and a region: each candidate picks at random a spirit and a region of the world, and has to imagine an original creation in harmony with these elements.
An exceptional jury and awards to match
To assess the candidates' performances, a jury made up of industry professionals, partner brand representatives and members of the public will lend their expert and passionate insights. The aim: to reward the best performance and salute the talent of the station's mixologists.
The winners will walk away with a number of prestigious prizes donated by our partners, and the winning cocktail could well be on the Altapura bar menu.
A long-term event
With this second edition, theAlta Contest Bar confirms its position as a must-attend event for mixology enthusiasts in Val Thorens. The event isn't just about competition: it's also a time for exchanging and sharing ideas about the world of the bar.
