While Val Thorens has once again won the coveted double title of Best Ski Resort in France and in the World, Altapura***** has been awarded, for the 5th time, Best Ski Hotel in France at the World Ski Awards 2023.

The international clientele is undiminished, says the five-star Altapura, whose 2Mille3 restaurant caters for all diets and traditions.

Located in the heart of Europe's highest resort - Val Thorens at an altitude of 2,300 m - and in the world's largest ski area, Les 3 Vallées, the Altapura is obviously very ski-oriented! But that doesn't stop it from offering the full arsenal of five-star luxury: refined decor, a variety of restaurants, spa....

Voted best French ski hotel at the World Ski Awards 2023, the Altapura is positioned as a "friendly luxury sport" hotel for those who appreciate the mountains with a capital "M", at the heart of Europe's highest ski area.

The décor is a jewel of the seventies (a return to the resort's origins in the Charlotte Perrian years) and nature, with larch trunks inlaid in the staircase leading down to the stylish "art & Kraft" lobby and its large designer sofas combined with iconic twentieth-century pieces and Le Corbusier-style lighting fixtures.

On Thursday March 7, the Altapura hotel will host the^1st edition of the Alta Contest Bar, a cocktail competition open to all.
