A look back at an exceptional event
On Thursday March 13, 2025, Altapura hosted the second edition of theAlta Contest Bar, a competition bringing together 17 passionate and talented bartenders to represent their establishments. In an atmosphere combining competition and conviviality, these mixology professionals demonstrated their know-how through technical and creative challenges.
A challenging and demanding competition
The event was organized around a series of tests that put participants' knowledge and creativity to the test:
A technical MCQ on the culture of the bar and spirits
A cocktail paired with a dessert drawn at random
An original creation based on an imposed spirit and region
Each round enabled the candidates to prove their expertise, their sense of innovation and their ability to marry flavors and textures brilliantly.
The podium and a unique trophy
Clara Correia (Hôtel Pashmina) took first place, confirming her talent after a remarkable participation last year. She went home with an exceptional trophy, designed by the Val Thorens Tourist Office and crafted by Coralie Desitter (@made_in_les_belleville). This trophy will hang proudly in the Pashmina bar until the next edition.
Salomé Gauthier (Altapura) finished second, putting in a fine performance for the host establishment.
