Alta Contest Bar Vol. 3: Creativity and Skill at Their Peak!

Last Thursday, Altapura hosted the third edition of Alta Contest Bar, the bartending competition that has become a must-attend event in Val Thorens. The competition put the participants’ creativity, technical skill, and daring to the test through three rounds:

  1. A quiz on the world of bars, spirits, and mixology
  2. Creating a mocktail using Monin Paragons
  3. The preparation of a cocktail using a local spirit (vodka, gin, or whiskey) with 3 to 5 ingredients, served in a 30-cl rocks glass, and requiring the use of clear ice

The day began with a welcome reception and breakfast, followed by the morning quiz and then cocktail-making competitions on the terrace. The day concluded with a toast, the awards ceremony, and a big thank you to the judges and the audience for their support and enthusiasm.
